קָרַר
קָרַרI (b. h.; cmp. כָּרָה) (to bore, break through, to well forth. Hif. הֵקֵר to cause to well forth. Erub.104b (expl. בור הקר, v. הָקֵר) בור שהֵקֵרוּ עליה דברים והתירוה (Or Zar. Erub. 216 הֵקֵירוּ) a well over which they (the scholars) caused words (arguments) to burst forth, and which they finally permitted; ib. שהקרו דברים עליה.
